Curse of the Wolf Girl, UK

Today, the 5th, is the official publication day for Curse of the Wolf Girl in Britain. Or I think it is, I'm a bit vague about the exact publication date. And it seems to have been available for a few days anyway. Hmm. This isn't the most impressive publication announcement ever made. But it's out now anyway. I think this edition should now be available in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa as well.

In London, Kalix is on her way to remedial college to try and improve her reading skills, Vex is going too, and Daniel is still pining over Moonglow. Yum Yum Sugary Snacks are refusing to rehearse, Dominil is getting annoyed and Decembrius is wondering what to do with himself. In Scotland, Markus, now thane of the Werewolf Clan, is wondering if he should tell his girlfriend about his habit of cross-dressing. Malveria, Queen of the Fire Elementals, and Thrix, Werewolf Enchantress, have some important fashion engagements coming up, but the werewolf hunters haven't forgotten about them, and neither has Princess Kabachetka, Malveria's deadly rival. And, that, off the top of my head, should be enough to get you started.

Meanwhile I'll draw your attention to this podcast from Erik Carlson, made up of music inspired by me, which starts off with the Sex Pistols and Led Zeppelin, so that can't be bad.

Anybody knows if there are any shops selling it in London? It only seems to be available online. Stupid if you ask me.

  4. I still haven't found it locally yet (USA), but then again, the local places were slow to get the most recent Robert Jordan book. (the one local place that did carry the most recent Wheel of Time doesn't carry your books at all, and are a pain to deal with)

  8. Is there any way of getting signed versions (I mean, if one were to, say, post a copy to you wraped in Manga or pictures of Buffy...)

  10. WOO and let me add a HOO! I got my copy today after preordering it ages ago on Play.com (cheaper than Amazon but takes longer to arrive). Can't wait to read it and get back together with this brilliant group of characters - Kalix being the best original character I've read in years. Just need to polish off the current tome I'm almost done with and then I will be in full-on CURSE OF THE WOLF GIRL devouring mode. :D

Now if only there wasn't this damn job cutting into my reading time.

  18. I'm glad you liked the book Rob

Hi Dee Marie, not heard from you for a while! I'll send you a transatlantic hug too. Well OK, I'm not really a big hugger. But I hope you're well, and carrying on with the Arthurian tales.

  19. I’m so excited. My copy of “Curse of the Wolf Girl” arrived late yesterday. I started reading last night and it took all my willpower to turn the lights out at a decent hour (getting up at 4am makes it hard to stay up all night reading).

I’ve decided to “try” to only read a couple of chapters a night, as I want to savor each chapter, each paragraph, each sentence, each word. Although I have a gut feeling that I’ll be breaking that routine after the first hundred pages and eventually pull an “all night” reading marathon. I know how addicting your stories can be (after all I have a whole section of my personal library overflowing with your novels; but you knew that).

Damn you Martin Millar and the way you weave such a wonderful tale. I foresee at least one night of endless sleep in my near future.

Thank you so much for the inquiry about my Arthurian Legends novels. I am hard at work with rewrites and re-editing the second book in the “Sons of Avalon” saga … “Sons of Avalon: Lot’s Revenge.

Oh, and about the hugs … we've been friends for far too many years to not be able to give the occasional cyber-hug [besides, I knew you were a covert hugger when I first read your short about Cicero and trees, but your secret is safe with me ~ insert big evil grin here].

Lastly [yes there is an end to my rambling] I see that you are now on Twitter. Whoo! Woo! Now that is too much fun!

Wishing you a month filled with magical moments (long live Buffy reruns).
    Love and Peace,
    Dee Marie
