Lack of Energy

I've been lacking energy for blogging recently, or even for replying to replies to my blog. I don't know why. I must have some sort of blogging fatigue. I mean to write something but then notice that four days have passed, and all I've done is play my SpongeBob SquarePants video game. In my defence, it is a very good game.

Here's a picture from the manga Claymore, which I've been reading quite obsessively. Slender silver-haired women with huge swords, chopping up monsters. What more can you ask from a comic?

And here's a review of Milk, Sulphate and Alby Starvation, my first novel, which will be re-issued early next year.

Right, that's it, I'm off to watch House. I really like this programme.

  1. If I didn't have children and a job I'd never leave my room some days.

The plan is to purchase the Spongebob game for the Wii for the kids...yesy another gift that I can enjoy when they're at school!

  2. I know Claymore, the monsters that awaken are very imaginative and cool. There is a DVD that you can see of this that is pretty neat. The music is atmospheric/scary/electronic/90's-ish. I suggest to watch it in Japanese because the voices, and inflections as are great. The eating of innards is so creeeeeeeepy.

  3. It's good to know that the non-blogging is because if other, more amusing ways of passing the time, and not because you have succumbed to a freak rhubarb-crumble related accident, or anything of that nature.

  4. Amysue, buying SpongeBob game for the kids is an excellent idea. It's a really good game.

I'd really like the Claymore Anime, Birdalini. I wonder if I can persuade anyone to buy me it for Christmas

  5. House is the best! I don't feel qualified to comment on video games or the Magna, but I can talk me some House....

  6. Marjorie, I'm glad you're concerned. And the possibility of a freak rhubarb crumble-related accident always exists. It's so hot when you take it out the oven.

I'm glad you like House, Lorraine! I've been watching an episode every day, catching up, and am almost up to date with it all. He's such a fine character. I really like Hugh Laurie.
