It wasn't really a ploy or maybe it was but he called me up the next day and went on and on about how the perfume lingered and it smelled like me and ooh ooh and so forth. That was nice but then he dumped me summarily and without warning a week or two later and I never got the scarf back.

This all happened some years ago and I hadn't thought of it for a while but now I too am wondering how long perfume lingers in a scarf and whether it's still there or not. Given the kind of hippie perfume I wear, it could have a half life of eons. It's probably gone, though, because he must have given the scarf to another girl long ago; he was like that.mygothlaundryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10017781537813147274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35151686.post-86619570720784377002010-01-11T11:43:04.180+00:002010-01-11T11:43:04.180+00:00Seems like you have stumbled upon this strange typ...Seems like you have stumbled upon this strange type of burglars who break into people's lives and leave things behind to confuse them. We do work with scarves, on occasion, though, so I'll send one of the men we have in our Brit sector over to your place for a look see at the garment of interest.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35151686.post-60502792516858416212010-01-08T21:44:10.644+00:002010-01-08T21:44:10.644+00:00Maybe it goes with the mysterious black gloves i f...Maybe it goes with the mysterious black gloves i found in my cupboard? They aren't perfumed, but they do appear to be man-gloves.
